WHO IS MAN?

Who is man……?

What are his struggles…..?

Vanity upon vanity…..

Today, man lives in hope, dreams and pride.

Tomorrow, he lies hopelessly till eternity.

Yesterday, he lived in a house build to his taste and fashion.

Today, he is confined in his coffin.

Yesterday, he was served meals with the best of taste.

Today, he is food for maggots.

Yesterday, he sets plans for many years to come.

Today, he lies silently without a hope of tomorrow.

After all, who is man…..?

What are his struggles…..?

A pot raises its head high,

Says its water is full,

But after some have been taken,

The pot loses all its water!

A small stream rolls and rumbles,

Swirls here and there in pride,

And the November sun smiles at it,

And the stream is dried up!

But the ocean is silent and gentle,

It walks courteously in its bank,

And rain does not cease falling on it,

And the ocean never lacks water!

COURAGE

The ants are small and tiny,

But wise and courageous are the ants,

And they build themselves a mansion,

The ant hill.

Snails are slow and sluggish,

But they are courageous and never tired, so,

The snails crawl to the top of the trees.

Sweet petals and nectar are far-fetched,

But the bees will never cease searching

And the bees produce the sweet honey.

Wise people,

Act like ants, snails and bees,

And your life will be sweet like honey.

UNTIL ONE DAY

Things were working out well “until one day”

I was having three (3) square meals “until one day”

I use to be in cash “until one day”

I use to be happy “until one day”

I was hardly in need “until one day”

I use to be a big boy “until one day”

I use to have a fat bank account “until one day”

I use to be famous for my wealth “until one day”

I use to have more than what I need “until one day”

Any good thing you can think of use to be my portion “until one day” things began to change. I surfed a lot “until one day” I meet Jesus who brought me back to normality.

This may have been your story “until one day” which is this day when you accepted Christ into your life. What are you waiting for, accept him today and enjoy the riches of his glory.
